Additional remarks Son of Tjaard van Aylva and Auck van Haerda. Juw was married to: 1) Tjemck N.N., and 2) Syts van Oedtsma. The latter was the widow of Syds van Scheltema (d. 1476). After their marrige (ca. 1480), Juw and Syts lived on the Scheltemastate alias Idsingastate, an estate in Huizum. Juw called himself Juw van Scheltema.
