Filiation
Filiation This version of the Brederodekroniek is partly a copy of Brussel, KB, no. 5376-5378 (MeMO Text Carrier ID 248); both manuscripts contain the same note at the end: descriptum est anno 1515 ipso die Luce evangeliste. Some parts of the text are an excerpt of Brussel, KB, no. 5376-5378. The chronicle of the house of Brederode exists both in Latin and Dutch. The Latin version covers the period up to 1482, the Dutch up to 1486 (and is in some manuscripts continued up to the middle of the 16th century). The Dutch text is probably based on the Latin, but the texts differ from each other. Carasso-Kok, nr. 304, p.330.
