Description of the decoration(s) Two columns surmounted by a trefoil arch, which has foliage, fruit and a winged cherub's head in the top. Putti(?), foliage and scrollwork in the spandrels. A banderole and three human figures below the allied arms in the centre. A cartouche decorated with foliage and animal feet, and flanked by columns with masks. Winged cherub heads in the corner quatrefoils.

Additional remarks Son of Epe Hessels van Jongema and Jouck van Walta, brother of Epe van Walta. Pier was the husband of Bauck van Unia and the father of son Worp and daughter Jouck. They lived on the Walta stins (estate) in Bozum. He owned properties in Bozum and Jorwerd. Pier's last will dates from 1538/07/15. The names of Pier and Bauck were engraved in a silver cup from 1508.
