Additional remarks The book is sewn into a parchment cover. The loose-leaf bifolio 27-28 gives evidence that the book was previously bound, because of holes in the middle of the bifolio and remnants of binding thread.

Provenance Of the archive of the St Pancras beguinage, only no. 516 was originally present in the municipal archive of Leiden. The numbers 522, 524, 529, 531, 533, 537, 538, 564 and 565 are received in loan from the National Archive in The Hague and the other numbers (including this memorial register) from the chapter of the Oud-Bisschoppelijke Clerezij (Old-Episcopal Clergy) in Utrecht.
