Specification Apparently Johan van Groningen had suffered from a mental disorder before he died. Rodolphus and Jacobus state with emphasis he experienced a moment of clarity before his death. Dessing (p.64) suggests the friars of Brunnepe had discussed an important matter during Johans illness: Quid itaque facto opus vestre prudencie, ut iam pridem utrimque conclusum comitto.
Additional remarks The letter was sent from Brunnepe to Agnietenberg. Rodolphus and Jacobus ask Hendrik van Hierde to send a messenger to Albergen to deliver the news concerning the death of Johan van Groningen.
