Short description Parchment manuscript (1497) contains the lives of five abbots (Frederik, Siard, Sibrand, Jarich and Jelger) of Mariëngaarde near Hallum in three texts and the lives of Norbert of Xanten and Herman Joseph. In the second half of the 16th century a short history of the abbey was added at the empty folios 71v-77r.
