Short description Parchment manuscript dating from the second half of the 15th century continued up to the middle of the 16th century. It is the cartulary of the convent of St Margaret in Gouda, which contains the chronicle, deeds concerning interests donated in exchange for memorial services and other documents concerning the property of the convent.

Additional remarks In 1453 Heyman Floriszoon, the priest of the convent, asked his socius Lambertus Willemszoon to write the chronicle. Possibly Lambertus used an older text (Goudriaan, 'De derde orde', p. 22). Circa 1549 rector Robert Janszoon Goris added the period 1485-1549.
