Translation
English translation Here lies buried the venerable man Gerardus Haexs, treasurer, cellarer and chorister of this church of St Servatius, who died in the year 1529 on the sixth day of the month of October, whose soul may rest in holy peace. Amen.
Dutch translation Hier ligt begraven de eerbiedwaardige man Gerardus Haexs, schatmeester, kellenaar en koorzanger van deze kerk van St. Servaas, die overleed in het jaar 1529 op de zesde dag van de maand oktober, wiens ziel in heilige vrede moge rusten. Amen.
