Provenance
Provenance The book is still in the collection of Amplonius Ratinck de Berka, an early-15th-century book-collector and personal physician of archbishop Frederick III of Cologne. In about 1412, Amplonius made an accurate list of the 635 manuscripts in his possession (incipit: Isti sunt libri quos ego Amplonius Ratinck de Berka habeo in gramatica... in poetria... de loyca... in arte rethorica...). The present book he listed as nr. 132, among his books in sacra theologia, adding a table of nearly all its contents. The book is a composite. The folios in parchment (1-124) have been written in several hands, dating from the mid 12th century and later. The folios in paper (124-152), containing Liber Hugonis de arra anime and two fill-ups, may all stem from the Bolsward Franciscan monastery.

Short summary of the contents Poem in Leonine hexameters, rather difficult to interpret, but probably a jocular list of the inhabitants of the Franciscan monastery at Bolsward in 1374. Lists friars and students (of a monastic school?), with special attention to scholarly and school-room activities. Gives short characterizations of fifteen individuals.
