Provenance 17th century: A. Waeyer te Zwolle. Later in the possession of Mr. Jean Theodore Royer, secretary of the court of Holland. After his death in 1808 sold at auction at B. Scheurleer and A. Specification Schoengen, p. cxi-cxiii: manuscript H (The Hague, KB, 70 H 69) and manuscript B (Brussel, KB, 8849-8859 (MeMO Text Carrier ID 202)) are copies of different versions of the Narratio inchoatione by Jacobus de Voecht which he supposedly wrote 1490-1500. B is a copy of the first editing, H of the second. Terminus ante quem for B is 1501, for H is 1503. Scheepsma ('Verzamelt', p. 237) dates B before 1501 and H from the period 1503-1510. According to the website of the KB late 15th, early 16th century.
