Additional remarks
Additional remarks Buchelius included the inscription and heraldic shield of Pieter Zuermont van Hinderstein in his 1611 inventory of objects in the Pieterskerk (p. 75). He later also recorded the inscription and shields of Willem van Asch (p. 77), which were added to the slab of Pieter Zuermont van Hinderstein after Willem van Asch's death in 1615. Given the heraldry on the slab, Pieter Zuermont van Hinderstein and Willem van Asch may have been related.

Remarks about holding institution It is unclear whether the slab is still present in the Utrecht Pieterskerk; the slab has not been located inside the church (summer 2012). It was last recorded by Bloys van Treslong Prins in 1919. The slab was either removed during the restoration of the church (1954-1970), or is currently situated underneath the wooden platform in the nave.
