Transcription Anno Domini MCCCCLI ultima die mensis Octobris obiit honorabilis vir dominus Johannes de Renen presbyter semiprebendatus imperialis huius ecclesie beate Marie Traiectensis, cuius anima requiescat in pace amen.
Translation
English translation In the year of the Lord 1451, the last day of the month of October died the honourable man, sir Jan van Renen, priest and possessor of a half imperial prebend of this church of St. Mary in Utrecht, whose soul may rest in peace, amen.
Dutch translation In het jaar des Heren 1451, de laatste dag van de maand oktober, stierf de eerbiedwaardige man, heer Johannes de Renen, priester en bezitter van een halve keizerlijke prebende van deze kerk van St. Marie in Utrecht, wiens ziel in vrede moge rusten, amen.
