Additional remarks
Additional remarks • The tomb monument is accompanied by a wall memorial of Dirk van Wassenaar, who was provost and archdeacon of the Janskerk. The memorial was originally built into the wall at the foot end of the tomb, see drawing by Pieter Saenredam (1636). • The tomb's right-hand side is not visible: this side is placed against the wall. The side of the foot end is currently visible but shows nothing since this side was originally placed against a wall as well.
