Short summary of the contents Extensive chronicle of the counts of Holland and the bishops of Utrecht, divided into 32 books, many of whom cover the reign of one count. There is ample attention for events in surrounding territories, and especially the early history of the region contains the lives of local saints. The chronicle seems not to have been transmitted in its entirety: it ends abruptly in the year 1417.
