Filiation Books II and III of the Chronicon Universale have been preserved in Brussels, KB, 22476. An 18th century partial transcript of Book II of the Chronicon Universale, by C.F. de Nelis, is in Brussels, KB. 17303-17319, f. 1r-189v. According to Bruch (1952, 86) Utrecht, UB, 1650 is Book IV of this life's work of Theodericus Pauli.

Additional remarks Kervyn de Lettenhove (1876) edited two extensive fragments by Theodericus Pauli, 'De rebus actis sub ducibus Burgundiae' (p. 235-263; NaSo T018) and 'Alia narratio de ducibus Burgundiae' (p. 264-328; NaSo T019). These texts seem to be part of his Chronicon Universale. They may either stem from the Brussels manuscript (Book II-III) or the lost Wroclaw manuscript (Book I).
