Specification Scrollwork and an inscription in Roman majuscules added at the top of the slab: 'Hendrik van Suchtelen secretaris der stadt Deventer' (Hendrik van Suchtelen, secretary of the city of Deventer). Hendrik van Suchtelen (1660-1708) was a son of Arent van Suchtelen and Bartha van Marckel.

Additional remarks • Hendrik van Suchtelen (1660-1708), who is commemorated at the top of the slab, was married to Margaretha Wilmijna van Brienen (1660-1695). The slab shows the arms of both families, see Heraldry. However, the slab is stylistically dated to the 16th century and the heraldry appears to be original. • Incised nos.: 36 and 405.
