Additional remarks The Virgin and Child are depicted left of centre, flanked by two angels. The right-hand side of the sculpture shows the three Magi, one of whom is kneeling. This type of image usually shows a seated Virgin while here the Virgin is depicted standing. The devotional portrait of Johan Levini, chantry priest at the altar of the Magi, can be seen on the left-hand side, accompanied by his patron saint (see tab page Saint Portraits).
