Translation
English translation To the greatest and best God. To the noble hero Adriaan van Reimerswaal, golden knight, Lord of Lodijk, Nieuw-Strijen, Weydeme and Severgem, who died in the year 1534 on May 6, and Johanna van Glymes, daughter of Jacob, baron of Grimbergen, who died in the year 1532 on March 16. Johanna, their daughter, had this monument restored and adorned for her outstanding parents.
Dutch translation Aan de grootste en beste God. Aan de edele held Adriaan van Reimerswaal, gulden ridder, heer van Lodijk, Nieuw-Strijen, Weydeme en Severgem, die stierf in het jaar 1534 op 6 mei, en Johanna van Glymes, dochter van Jacob, baron van Grimbergen, die stierf in het jaar 1532 op 16 maart.
