Additional remarks (original location) The slab has always been located in the 'kapel van Van Arkel' (chapel of Van Arkel). It was originally situated next to the tomb monument of bishop Jan van Arkel, which is now missing.
Additional remarks The chapel also houses the damaged memorial sculpture/altarpiece of the Pot family. The sculpture shows the Virgin and Child with St Anne ('Anna Selbdritt') and the name saints and other patron saints of members of the Pot family.

English translation In the year of the Lord 1500 on the 24th day of the month of October died the venerable man, master Anthonis Pot, licentiate in laws, canon and official of the Utrecht Dom Church, buried here, whose soul may rest in peace.
