It also contains, as a separate unit written by canon Cornelis van Mierop (1509-1572), chronicles in Latin and Dutch concerning the history of the noble houses of Ameide, Teilingen, Teisterbant, Arkel, Lederdam, Hoekelom, Asperen, Hagestein, Acquoy, Leyenberg, Noordeloos, Zoelen, Avezaat, Alblas and Alblasserdam, Berg, IJselstein, Egmond, Culemborg and Vianen.
