Biographies of the abbots of the Aduard monastery (Vita et gesta abbatum); Berlin, SBB, ms. Phillips 1899

Paper manuscript dating from the 16th century, contains the lives of the first 28 abbots of the convent in Aduard, two biographies of Lambertus Helt (the 29th abbot) and a biography of Johannes Recamp (the 30th abbot). Gerard Meerman added a list of abbots up to 1578 in the 18th century.

Parchment manuscript dating from the 13th century, contains the chronicle (up to c. 1275) of the early history of the monastery Bloemhof at Wittewierum, started in 1219 by the abbot Emo (d. 1237) and continuated by his successor Menko (1213/14-1275/76). Also known as the Groninger Codex.

Paper manuscript dating from the late 16th or early 17th century, contains parts of the chronicle (up to c. 1275) of the early history of the monastery Bloemhof in Wittewierum, started in 1219 by the abbot Emo (d. 1237) and continuated after his death by his successor Menko (1213/14-1275/76). The selection focuses on the history of Frisia. This manuscript has a continuation until 1296. In the literature this manuscript is known as the Friese Codex.

Memorial register of the Kalende Confraternity in Groningen; Groningen, GA, 1235, no. 1

Book of the Kalende Confraternity in Groningen, containing a register of resolutions (1318-1497), lists of members (ca.1460-1500) and deceased members (1318-1500), a list of dishes to be served at communal meals, and a list of rents belonging to the confraternity (1460-1500). The book was started between 1459 and 1463. copied and continued around 1500, see MeMO Text Carrier ID 436.

Memorial register of the Kalende-confraternity Kalendebroederschap in Groningen: Private collection

Memorial register of the Kalende-confraternity (Kalendebroederschap) containing membership lists, both alive and dead, resolutions of the confraternity, notes on food to be served on annual gatherings. The manuscript was started between 1501 and 1506 and in continuous use until 1590. It probably replaced the previous register (MeMO Text Carrier ID 377).
