Additional remarks He was married to Mariken, daughter of Pieter Gheertssz. van Wemelingen. In 1527 Cornelis Cornelisz. Boom was mentioned (in a document of the Oostambacht Kapelle) as the owner of three pieces of land. Stijne Lauwers may have been his second wife and canon Pieter Cornelis their son. He may also have been the father of Cornelis Cornelisse den Jonghen Boom (d. 1550), who was buried in Wemeldinge.
